Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Project Manager, Field Services to lead environmental remediation projects from start to finish, coordinating equipment, labor, regulatory aspects, and safety compliance. You will visit customer sites, manage budgets, and ensure client satisfaction while maintaining strong team leadership.

This role requires experience in hazardous waste management or related environmental services, with a technical degree and CHMM preferred.

Qualifications

Experience with hazardous waste management or environmental services is required.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred; CHMM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Prioritize health and safety by following policies and maintaining safe practices.
Assess project needs for equipment and labor to estimate length and cost.
Manage environmental assessments, investigations and remediation activities.
Develop written proposals for projects and estimate associated costs and pricing.
Plan initiation by scheduling resources and preparing compliance documents.
Monitor site progress and adjust costs while maintaining client relationships.
Support field service personnel, provide technical guidance, and assist with billing and admin tasks.
Travel to customer sites as needed and be available for on-call duties.
May supervise Emergency Response crew and ensure safe field operations.
Demonstrate knowledge of petroleum pipeline industry standards.
Contribute to hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes.
