Job summary

Onterris, Inc. in Orlando, FL, is seeking a mid-career scientist, geologist, or engineer to advance project management and reporting across Phase I ESAs, site assessments, PFAS Remedial Investigations, emergency response, remediation, and environmental compliance. This is an office-based role in Orlando.

The annual salary range for this role is $80K to $100K, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in environmental investigations and leading field efforts.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to travel and obtain security clearance at federal installations.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of computer aided software (Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, etc.).
• Ability to work under physically demanding conditions and travel primarily within Florida.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements sampling plans for field investigations.
• Leads field efforts and guides junior staff on data collection methodologies and documentation.
• Analyzes data to identify gaps and suggests investigative changes.
• Contributes to development of Conceptual Site Models.
• Coordinates subcontractors for geophysical surveys and drilling investigations.
• Prepares reports, tables, maps, and drawings to support regulatory approvals.
• Performs ASTM-compliant Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
• Coordinates responses to emergency spill incidents in central Florida.
• Interacts with federal, municipal, and private sector clients.
• Maintains safety and participates in continuous improvement.
