EnviroScience in Stow, Ohio is seeking a full-time, entry-level Environmental Scientist to support our Compliance Services Practice. The role includes field work outdoors, data organization, and report development, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a related field with 0–2 years of field experience, or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an environmental science field.
• Willingness and ability to learn new systems, equipment, and skills
• Flexibility for overnight travel and ability to accommodate long field days and schedule changes due to weather or client needs
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable driving vehicles for an extended period of time
• Strong communication skills with team members in fast-paced field conditions

Responsibilities

• Perform multimedia field sampling including surface water, groundwater, stormwater, and sediment
• Conduct inspections and site visits in rural and industrial settings
• Maintain a flexible work schedule and travel as required
• Perform year-round field work in adverse weather and rough terrain
• Organize and review data and assist in developing reports
• Represent client’s best interests and support client during projects
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Adhere to company values: safety, client advocacy, respect, teamwork, accountability, quality work
