Job summary

ACRT Pacific, LLC is looking for a Scalable Workforce Team Member who will support various environmental projects. This role involves site assessments, data collection, and contributing to reports under the guidance of senior staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field and has practical experience in environmental work. Offered on a hybrid basis, this position allows remote work with occasional requirements to report to the Stow, Ohio office.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Scalable Workforce Team Member at EnviroScience supports environmental projects that require flexible, short‑term, or project‑based staffing. The role works within cross‑functional teams to assist in fieldwork, data collection, lab analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform site assessments, habitat surveys, and environmental monitoring under supervision.
  • Collect water, soil, and air samples in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist with species identification and population monitoring.
  • Compile and analyze environmental data using Excel, GIS, or proprietary systems.
  • Assist in writing reports and preparing documentation for clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of fieldwork, lab results, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with scientists, project managers, and environmental engineers to meet project goals.
  • Communicate findings and updates to project leads and senior staff in a timely manner.
  • Provide support in client meetings by preparing data summaries or background research.
  • Follow health and safety protocols while working on‑site and in the lab.
  • Ensure environmental work is conducted in line with federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in environmental fieldwork or laboratory work, preferably in a consulting setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with environmental regulations and permitting processes.
  • Familiarity with species identification and habitat assessment methodologies.
  • Certification in first aid, CPR, or OSHA safety training.
  • Knowledge of environmental sampling techniques and data collection methods.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and GIS software.

  • High level of accuracy in data collection, recording, and analysis.
  • Ability to identify potential environmental concerns and propose practical solutions.

  • Willingness to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
Physical Requirements
  • Communication skills: able to see, read, write, and speak.
  • Occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching.
  • Work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
  • Walk or hike for periods of time, including uneven, uphill, and downhill terrain.
  • Move objects weighing 20–50 lbs.
Travel Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to field sites, sometimes on short notice.
  • Travel time 90–100% of time.
Work Environment

This is a remote hybrid role. Employees will work remotely but may be required to come into the Stow, Ohio office to retrieve a company vehicle and for training. Standard office equipment will be provided for both office and home use. A dedicated home workspace and uninterrupted internet of at least 20Mbps is required.
