Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Project Scientist (Scientist 2) to lead environmental compliance monitoring for energy clients across Minnesota and neighboring states. You will collect samples, analyze data, and draft daily reports, contributing to high-quality outcomes.

The role requires a BA/BS in Environmental Science or related field with 2–5+ years of experience, strong technical communication, field data collection, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Environmental Science or other related field.
• 2 to 5+ years of experience.
• Strong technical communication skills.
• HAZWOPER certification.
• Field data collection and technical writing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide Environmental Compliance Monitoring for Energy Clients throughout Minnesota and surrounding States.
• Draft daily monitoring reports and communicate environmental compliance concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
• Collect soil, water, air, and/or building material samples.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
• Write technical reports and proposals.
