Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Project Scientist to lead environmental monitoring and data interpretation across Minnesota and surrounding states. You will draft daily reports, collect samples, and communicate findings to stakeholders, contributing to projects that protect the environment.

The position requires a BA/BS in Environmental Science with 2–5+ years of experience, strong communication, and a valid driver's license. HAZWOPER certification and Microsoft 365 proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Environmental Science or other related field.
• 2 to 5+ years of experience.
• Strong technical communication skills.
• HAZWOPER certification.
• Field data collection.
• Technical writing.
• Microsoft 365.
• Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Environmental Compliance Monitoring for Energy Clients throughout Minnesota and surrounding States.
• Draft daily monitoring reports and communicate environmental compliance concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
• Collect soil, water, air, and/or building material samples.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
• Write technical reports and proposals.
