Job summary

KEMRON Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking Laborers to support environmental remediation, heavy construction, and site work projects in the Chattanooga, TN area. This position performs general labor and construction support duties in an outdoor field environment.

Work is outdoors in varying weather and site conditions; candidates must lift up to 75 pounds, follow safety rules, and assist with excavation and related activities. OSHA HazWOPER credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license.
Ability to perform strenuous manual labor in outdoor field conditions.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
Ability to work effectively around heavy equipment and construction activities.
Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled project hours.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, move, and organize tools, equipment, and materials.
Perform digging, trenching, backfilling, grading, and general site cleanup.
Use hand tools and basic power equipment as required.
Assist equipment operators and other site personnel with project activities.
Remove debris, brush, and other materials from work areas.
Assist with excavation, asphalt, and other construction-related activities as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follow KEMRON and OSHA safety requirements and project-specific procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
