Job summary

Remedial Construction Services, L.P. seeks a Construction Laborer to support environmental remediation, geotechnical and civil construction projects. The role involves physical labor, operating basic tools, and adhering to site safety policies.

Candidates must be able to travel as needed and work in varied outdoor conditions. Required qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to read and write in English, and 40-Hour HAZWOPER training (or current refreshers).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, write and understand math and English to respond to customer requests and follow instructions.
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER training required for positions at most job sites (or current 8 Hour HAZWOPER refresher) and MSHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and comply with safety and project policies.
• Support Job Safety Analysis (JSA) processes and updates to JSAP.
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill, grade earth per specs, using basic tools.
• Prepare materials and maintain tidy, hazard-free work areas.
• Control traffic near work zones and assist machine operators.
• Layout openings and distances, measure and mark affected areas.
• Communicate professionally with team and interpret signals for material placement.
• Perform physical tasks for extended periods, including lifting and positioning materials.
• Care for and maintain tools and equipment; perform other duties as assigned.
