Qualifikationen

• Bachelor-level work not required; associate degree acceptable for entry into surveying/engineering tech fields.
• Candidates may be within three months of graduation to meet educational requirements.
• Proven ability to operate survey instruments and collect field data is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Operate Survey Instruments: assist in using total station, theodolite, transit, level and other instruments to gather data.
• Handle Geospatial Equipment: assist in operating high accuracy geospatial radio, receiver, controller, and base station.
• Process Survey Data: use survey software to create control reports and compute coordinates, elevations, angles, and distances.
• Manage Field Records: record, calculate, and check field notes and obtain project information at county courthouses.
• Maintain Equipment: maintain and store equipment properly.
• Enter Environmental Data: input required data in prescribed formats to meet quality standards.
