Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering, Geology, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • EIT or GIT certification is required.
  • 2–5 years of experience with environmental field sampling, data collection, and reporting.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • Safety awareness and understanding of safe work practices.
  • Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and personal vehicle.
  • Proficiency with data analysis, databases, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Able to pass drug & alcohol screening and background check.
  • Requires 15% overnight travel.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and perform field activities for environmental due diligence, site assessment and remediation projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and analytical laboratories, including scheduling work and field oversight.
  • Manage, analyze, interpret, and present environmental data using statistical, database, and data visualization tools.
  • Perform and review data entry and QA/QC for data tables, maps, reports, and field documentation.
  • Assist with proposals, cost estimates, and technical reports for regulatory submittal.
  • Operate and maintain field equipment and instrumentation.
  • Research federal and state rules regarding environmental permitting, compliance, and remediation.
  • Learn to manage projects within timeframes and budgets and apply remediation designs.
