Job summary

Clean Harbors in Bartow, FL is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist (CleanPack Chemist CDL) to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste at customer sites and facilities. This is an entry-level field role, not laboratory-based, with daily customer-facing responsibilities.

You will travel regionally, comply with OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations, and participate in lab packs and HHW collections. The role offers safety-first culture, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and career growth

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license is required.
• CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements required.
• Overnight travel up to 10%, travel up to 25% overall.
• Ability to work weekends and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste per regulations.
• Prepare packing lists, labels, and disposal notifications.
• Inspect storage areas, drums, and labeling for compliance.
• Perform lab packs and HHW collections at customer sites.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on all tasks.
