Job summary

The technician will prepare gear for rental, ensure proper labeling, and support after-hours emergencies as needed while upholding safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and/or completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience in environmental services.
• Experience interfacing with clients; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask and liaise with customers in different settings.
• Ability to follow all applicable safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work is performed completely, correctly, and with high quality.
• Test, calibrate, repair and maintain equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Prepare equipment with required accessories, calibration info, and paperwork for rental.
• Respond to customer calls for technical assistance, troubleshooting, and training.
• Inspect returned equipment for completeness and labeling.
• Maintain records of electrical safety inspections and environmental equipment.
