Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, or in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering, with an emphasis in Environmental Engineering, or other closely related construction discipline.
  • An undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering from an ABET accredited institution, or a closely related field from a similarly accredited institution.
  • Minimum of two years undergraduate teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated current and contemporary competence in their teaching content area.
  • Excellent oral and written English language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses for environmental engineering technology students.
  • Advise students in curriculum and career choices and mentor student teams.
  • Engage with student organizations and professional associations to support learning.
  • Participate in service activities for the department and university.
  • Fulfill workload of teaching four courses each semester as needed by area and needs.
