Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years undergraduate teaching experience.
  • Professional licensure relevant to the discipline is preferred.
  • U.S.-based industry experience in environmental and/or civil design and construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach four courses each semester as required.
  • Advise students on curriculum and career choices.
  • Engage with student organizations and mentor competition teams.
  • Participate in industry associations and professional societies.
  • Engage in service activities that support the university and department.
  • Execute additional teaching, research, and service duties.

Skills

Excellent oral and written English language skills
Current competency in teaching content area

Education

Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Undergraduate degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from ABET accredited institution
