Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineering Intern to join our Chicago team. You will collaborate with senior engineers on municipal, federal, and industrial projects, gaining exposure to a full project lifecycle.

You will research engineering solutions, support analyses, and help prepare reports and presentations using ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel, and other software. Fieldwork opportunities may be available for hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelors or Master's in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with a dynamic team on a diverse portfolio of municipal, federal, and industrial projects.
• Assist in researching engineering solutions and develop documents and presentations using ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel and other software.
