Farnsworth Group is seeking an Environmental Intern for Summer 2027 in the Energy and Utilities division. The role involves field assessments, environmental permitting, and compliance support across multiple projects.

You will conduct site inspections for erosion control, delineate wetlands, and assist with SPCC, SWPPP, and BMP planning documents while collaborating with design engineers.

Qualificações

• Completed junior year of an undergraduate program in a related field.
• Great attitude, willingness to learn, and a team player.
• Ability to effectively manage time while working on several projects concurrently.
• Pursuing degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field.
• Experience with GPS, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide environmental support for various energy and utilities projects.
• Perform inspections on construction sites for erosion and sediment control.
• Provide field support to delineate and map wetlands, perform environmental compliance inspections, describe habitat, and report environmental conditions to design engineers
• Research and assist with environmental permitting at the federal, state, and local levels
• Assist with the composition of a variety of regulatory documents including SPCC Plans, SWPPP, and BMP Plans
