Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Engineering Intern to join our Environmental Services team in Edison, NJ. You’ll work with a dynamic team on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects, assisting with data research, analyses, and presentations to support study deliverables.

You will gain exposure to ArcGIS, CADD, Excel and Access while collaborating with senior engineers to develop and disseminate project information. Travel is limited to 10% or less as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field is required.

Responsibilities

• Support analyses and design under supervision of senior engineers.
• Develop and disseminate study information through documents and presentations.
• Assist with data evaluation and fieldwork as needed; exposure to ArcGIS, CADD, Excel and Access software.
