Job summary

CDM Smith in Denver, CO is seeking an Environmental Engineering Co-Op to join our Water Services team. You’ll work with senior engineers on municipal, federal, and industrial projects, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle.

As an intern or co-op, you will research engineering solutions, assist with analyses, reporting, and design using ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel, and related tools; there may be opportunities for fieldwork as part of CDM Smith’s construction management activities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field is required.
• Enrollment at an accredited university or college is expected.
• Proactive, collaborative team player with eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support research, analyses, reporting, and design on projects for the Water Services team.
• Utilize tools such as ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel for project work.
• Assist with fieldwork opportunities to gain full project lifecycle exposure.
