The role covers air quality, wastewater, stormwater, waste management, and EMS (ISO 14001) within the tire and rubber manufacturing sector, with hands-on exposure to data collection, analysis, and permit requirements.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an Environmental Science or Engineering program.
• Competencies include initiative, dependability, commitment, and accountability with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Pursuing cooperative education certification.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of Environmental Engineering.
• Assist with sustainability initiatives and cost-reduction programs for compliance systems.
• Assist with Stormwater and SPCC plan inspections and implementation.
