Job summary

HDR is seeking an Environmental Engineer in Michigan to perform complex remediation projects, design and implement remediation measures, and lead mid-size projects as needed. You will work with a team to ensure quality outcomes and sustainable solutions in waste infrastructure.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering and a PE license, with preferred experience in remediation design, AutoCAD, and GIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related field is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by the licensing board is required.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex environmental remediation assignments and design/implement remediation measures.
• Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures.
• Function as a technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects as needed.
• Supervise a small staff of professionals and technicians as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
