Qualified candidates have a relevant Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of regulatory experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex permits and requirements.

Do you have a passion for developing sophisticated Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) systems? In Boise, Idaho, we are building one of the most advanced semiconductor fabrication sites in the world, and we are focused on protecting our people, community, and environment. As an Environmental Engineer, you will develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve environmental compliance programs to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations and permit requirements. This role supports critical environmental programs including the Indirect Discharge Permit (IDP), RCRA hazardous waste management, air permitting, stormwater compliance, Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) programs, and other environmental compliance initiatives. The Environmental Engineer works closely with operations, facilities, construction, contractors, and regulatory agencies to identify environmental risks, implement effective compliance solutions, and support Micron's commitment to operational excellence and environmental stewardship.
