Job summary

Parsons seeks a Civil/Environmental Engineer to support remedial design and construction projects within the Environmental Practice group. The role involves preparing technical reports, drawings, specifications, and client-facing deliverables, while collaborating across teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3+ years of related experience, with strong communication skills and knowledge of environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years of related work experience.
• Exceptional written and oral communications.
• Strong independent work ethic and adaptability to client priorities.
• Experience with ISCO, air sparge/soil vapor extraction, and other in-situ treatment technologies.
• Thorough understanding of environmental rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares technical reports, design drawings, specifications for procurement and construction, and client/regulatory presentations.
• Collaborates with Parsons’ other engineering groups on projects.
• Reviews contract submittals and performs technical bid analyses.
• Prepares engineering computations, material takeoffs, cost estimates, and surveys.
• Provides technical guidance to CAD designers, drafters, and junior engineers.
• Works with project managers to develop budgets, schedules, and plans; ensures goals are met.
