Resource Options, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to support Project Managers and Superintendents across civil and environmental remediation projects. Involves pre-construction through close-out, reviewing drawings, submitting bids, maintaining logs, and preparing reports.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience and a degree in engineering/related field. Strong communication, plan-reading, and computer skills are essential for success in this position.

Formación

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• AS or BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or Environmental Science preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Excellent computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in all aspects of construction process.
• Read and understand project documents (plans and specifications) in detail.
• Assist with pre-construction activities, including development of construction means and methods and bid packages.
• Assist with constructability review and value engineering.
• Ensure all completed work complies with codes and contract documents.
• Maintain submittal logs and expedite timely receipt/review of submittals and shop drawings.
• Verify accuracy of subcontractor pay requisitions and quantities.
• Identify conditions differing from contract documents and notify the Superintendent or PM.
• Assist with correspondence to owners, contractors, subcontractors, engineers and architects.
• Assist with project status reports and cost reports; participate in meetings; produce minutes.
• Create and maintain the jobsite file system per contract or company requirements.
• Assist in project close-out activities.
• Function as Assistant Project Manager and Assistant Superintendent when applicable.
• Assist with development of estimates at bid phase and prepare technical proposals.
