Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd seeks an Environmental Specialist at our Muskegon plant. The role requires at least two years of plant environmental experience and a BS in a related technical field.

You will join the site EHS team and support regulatory compliance activities with a focus on water/wastewater, stormwater, or waste management. Key duties include developing and maintaining processes to ensure permit and regulation compliance, coaching line personnel, compiling and submitting reports to

• Bachelor of Science in a related technical field is required.
• Experience with permits and regulatory reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinates all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up;
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.

Job description

Must have at least (2) years of plant environmental experience and a Bachelor of Science in related technical field only!

Manage environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits as related with a focus on either water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management.

Position will be a member of the site EHS team, report into the Plant EHS Manager and support environmental compliance activities for a large, union manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities of this position include:
