Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is seeking an Environmental Engineer Intern to support the Environmental and Sustainability Function and assist engineers or operations in Milwaukee.

You will work on environmental projects, help with compliance tasks, data collection and reporting, SDS reviews, and SharePoint updates while pursuing a related bachelor’s degree. The internship emphasizes practical learning and impact on environmental metrics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field for the duration of the internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Relevant coursework

Responsibilities

• Assist environmental team with compliance tasks and projects.
• Provide technical environmental sustainability and compliance services to operations.
• Provide technical assistance to management, employees, and others on matters regarding compliance, permitting, sustainability, and reporting.
• Researching, analyzing, and/or preparing information including but not limited to: permit applications, governmental rules, regulations, codes, standards, air emission inventories, environmental reports and disclosures.
• Assist in compiling and preparing Environmental Key Performance Metrics such as waste, recycling and energy.
• Review SDSs and update as needed in the SDS system and other environmental management systems.
• Upgrade Environmental and Green Team SharePoint Sites
