Job summary

Amrize seeks an Environmental Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 at the Middleton, MA site. This 10-week paid internship begins June 1, 2027, and focuses on environmental practices within a cement plant, with opportunities to learn, contribute, and potentially transition to full-time after graduation.

You will work with a team to evaluate and improve environmental procedures, engage with field staff, and present outcomes to leadership at the end of the program.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate program related to environmental engineering or mechanical engineering.
• Strong academic performance and understanding of engineering principles.
• Willingness to spend significant time in the field and travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in environmental program enhancement and continuous improvement.
• Engage with plant employees and contractors to reinforce environmental practices.
• Perform inspections, monitoring, and testing of equipment and emissions for compliance.
• Collect and analyze data on air, water, waste, and energy use to identify trends.
• Support safety protocols and company policies in all environments.
• Prepare and deliver learnings to executive leadership at internship end.
