Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an Environmental Engineer II to lead site environmental compliance efforts and enhance programs across the facility. You will work with engineering and production teams to implement policies that meet regulatory requirements and drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with Environmental regulatory monitoring and compliance.
• Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations including CAA, CWA (NPDES, SPCC, SWPPP), RCRA, and NEPA.
• Ability to develop, implement, and maintain environmental compliance policies, procedures, and programs.
• Experience reporting to and interfacing with regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Implementing policies and procedures to ensure environmental compliance.
• Developing programs to increase employee awareness and knowledge of compliance policies.
• Working closely with various stakeholders to evaluate compliance, and to ensure that our practices meet the highest standards.
• Supporting a variety of program activities within the EHS organization, including Air Program compliance, RCRA Hazardous Waste compliance, Waste water, and NPDES Stormwater compliance.
