Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Entry Level Environmental Engineer for its Clearfield, UT location. The role is onsite and involves supporting DoD customers with APIMS to ensure compliance with Clean Air and Clean Water Acts, with travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities include developing environmental programs, monitoring compliance, preparing impact studies, and interacting with regulators. A US citizenship and ability to obtain agency clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.
• Experience with the Clean Water Act or Clean Air Act.
• Be able to travel up to 25% nationwide and internationally.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Agency clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develops, administers and implements environmental programs in accordance with governmental requirements.
• Monitors pollution prevention activities, compliance and auditing efforts.
• Conduct studies and prepares environmental impact reports for new construction projects, plant processes and permit changes.
• Reviews and analyzes Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act environmental documentation issued by EPA, state and local regulators.
• Determines impact on company operations and publishes compliance strategies and requirements.
• Evaluate proposed regulations to determine financial, industrial, public and environmental impact.
• Interacts with regulators to resolve compliance issues.
• Represents company in government and industry rule-making activities.
• Establishes permit requirements and assists in EPA, state and local regulatory audits
