Job summary

Davis & Floyd, Inc. is seeking a motivated Environmental Engineer to join our Greenville or Greenwood, SC team.

You will work on environmental and civil projects, coordinating compliance programs, liaising with agencies and clients, and driving business development in a family-owned firm that values integrity and quality. The ideal candidate has a civil/environmental engineering background, at least 4 years of experience, and familiarity with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Knowledge of environmental compliance requirements and program development.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D or GIS.
• Strong communication with staff and clients.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental projects, compliance programs, and regulatory approvals.
• Interact with agencies and clients; develop internal/external marketing strategies.
• Perform business development and client management.
• Prepare/coordinate NEPA studies and oversee planners.
• Oversee staff engineers and provide guidance.
• Industrial wastewater treatment design, permitting, and compliance.
• Air permitting (Title V), modeling, and regulatory compliance.
• Stormwater, SPCC plans, and environmental due diligence.
• Prepare compliance audits and technical reports.
