Job summary

TriMedia Environmental & Engineering Services seeks an Environmental Engineer in Marquette, Michigan to support project management personnel in implementing environmental projects.

The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, clear communication with staff and clients, and thrives in a dynamic team environment. Travel and PPE may be required as part of field work, with a focus on practical, client-centered environmental solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or related field required.
• 3 years of professional experience is desired but not required.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting, and standards.
• HAZWOPER certification preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Engineering calculations.
• Ability to work in varied environments, potentially wearing PPE.
• Remediation/design knowledge.
• Knowledge of construction compliance.
• Willing and able to travel as needed.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental data and apply engineering principles to develop solutions.
• Perform environmental sampling (soil, water, air) at a wide variety of locations.
• Calibrate and maintain field equipment.
