Job summary

LyondellBasell in Pasadena, TX, invites motivated engineering students to join as Environmental Engineer Co-op/Intern. You will support environmental compliance, safety programs, and sustainability initiatives while learning within a global chemical leader.

Qualified candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering with a 3.0 GPA or higher, who are legally authorized to work in the United States and can commit to two consecutive terms

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Available to complete two consecutive co-op terms (Summer/Fall): May - December 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance on environmental issues.
• Assist in understanding and complying with requirements to minimize environmental risks.
• Monitor performance, promote beneficial change, and interact with internal stakeholders to identify, quantify, and manage environmental risks.

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or Chemical Engineering (pursuing)
