Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking an Environmental Engineer Co-op/Intern to gain hands-on experience in safeguarding operations and promoting sustainable practices.

You will support environmental initiatives, monitor performance, and interact with internal stakeholders to minimize risk and uphold safety standards. This is a two-term opportunity starting May 2026, offering mentorship and real-world project exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an engineering degree with minimum GPA 3.0.
• Legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Available to commit to two consecutive co-ops (May–Dec 2026).

Qualifications We're Looking For:

• Currently pursuing aBachelor's degree in IndustrialHygiene, Environmental Engineering,Chemical Engineering,or an equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
• Must be available to complete two consecutive co‑op terms (Summer/Fall): May - December 2026.
