Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Environmental Engineer for its Memphis-area AI/SC facilities to lead environmental programs and ensure regulatory compliance. You will partner with engineering, construction, and operations teams to enable rapid compute expansion while managing water, energy, and emission considerations.

The role requires a degree in environmental engineering (or related) and 2+ years in compliance program execution, with on-site work in Memphis, TN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in the design, development, and execution of environmental and regulatory compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve environmental programs for Memphis-area facilities.
• Maintain compliance with EPA, TDEC, Shelby County Health Department, and other agencies.
• Track and interpret new environmental laws and regulations for guidance to leadership and teams.
• Perform audits and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Manage hazardous materials and waste, including reporting like Tier II/ TRI.
