Job summary

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer or Senior Geologist to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and project management for complex contamination cleanup, remediation, and environmental due diligence projects. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) alongside the hands‑on engineering or geological skill set required to design, implement, and close out subsurface remediation systems. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, interface directly with regulatory agencies, manage project budgets, and mentor junior staff.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a closely related discipline (Master's degree preferred).

• Current Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license is highly preferred or required depending on state regulations.
• 8+ years of progressive consulting experience focused heavily on contamination cleanup, remediation system design, and Phase I/II due diligence.
• Strong working knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA, state-specific cleanup programs).
• Proven track record of managing drilling subcontractors, laboratory coordination, and field sampling techniques.
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable advice for non-technical clients.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification with current 8-hour refresher.
• Ability to conduct periodic field visits, perform quality assurance audits, and attend on-site client or regulatory meetings.
