Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking an Environmental Engineer for a direct hire position with a Global Manufacturing Company in Circleville, OH. Salary range $95,000–$105,900 with bonus eligibility up to 7% and onsite work.

You will provide direction to ensure a safe workplace and regulatory compliance across environmental, safety, and health laws. Interaction with multiple organizational levels will shape a unified EHS message and program leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Federal, State, Local environmental permits and reporting.
• Broad understanding of environmental, health and safety rules and regulations.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local and company environmental regulations and policies.
• Manage CAA/MACT, CWA/NPDES, SPCC and EPCRA reporting and documentation.
• Develop and maintain emergency response and contingency plans.
• Support ISO14001 compliance and EHS initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across levels to implement EHS programs.

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Environmental Engineer for a direct hire position with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Circleville, OH. Pay range: $95,000 - $105,900 per year. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus of up to 7%

As an Environmental Engineer, you will provide direction and training to provide a safe and healthful workplace for the associates. You will ensure compliance with applicable environmental, safety, and health laws and regulations. You will have close interaction with all levels of the manufacturing, corporate Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), technical and engineering organizations to provide a unified EHS message. You will sit onsite and report to the EHS manager.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local and company environmental regulations and policies
• Clean Air Act (CAA) Title V Operating Permits, New Source Review, and Minor Source permits compliance; including emissions reporting and compliance documentation
• CAA Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) standards, including the Miscellaneous Organic Chemicals (MON) MACT and the Miscellaneous Coatings Manufacturing (MCM) MACT standards reporting and compliance documentation
• Manage the Clean Water Act (CWA) National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) water permits (Industrial and Stormwater)
• CWA Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plan inspections and management
• Resource Recovery and Conservation Act (RCRA) and state-level Waste Management Program (Hazardous, Non-Hazardous, Universal) for both Large and Small Quantity Generator(s)Developing and maintaining emergency response and contingency plans
• Compliance with ISO14001 requirements
• Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know (EPCRA) Reporting consists of SARA 312 (Tier II) and SARA 313 (Toxic Release Inventory)
• Participate in our facilities Emergency Response Teams (ERT)
• Develop leading indicators that improve sustainability metrics (energy, water, waste) and spill incidents
• Provide leadership and coaching to motivate change
• Must have a broad understanding of environmental, health and safety rules and regulations
• Collaborate with at all levels of the organization

Requirements:

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field required
• 5+ years of experience with CAA, CWA, and EPCRA permits and reporting
• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must have a broad understanding of environmental, health and safety rules and regulations
