Job summary

Advantage Technical in Allen Park, MI is seeking an engineer to join our automotive compliance team on a hybrid schedule. The role focuses on identifying safety and regulatory requirements across vehicle development, working with engineering and program teams to ensure plans meet all standards.

You will develop and maintain regulatory plans, track testing and approvals, and monitor milestones to identify risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
  • 1+ year of program management or coursework related experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify applicable safety and regulatory requirements for vehicle programs.
  • Collaborate with engineering to embed compliance into project plans.
  • Develop and maintain compliance and regulatory plans.
  • Track documentation, testing, and approvals throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor progress toward key program milestones and identify compliance risks.
  • Support global certification and regulatory approval processes.
  • Provide compliance status updates and risk assessments to program stakeholders.

Pay Rate: $42.31/hr

Schedule: Hybrid schedule (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements
  • At least 1 year of program management experience (coursework considered)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
Job Duties
  • Support vehicle development programs by identifying applicable safety and regulatory requirements
