Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing process engineering in a production setting.
  • Strong knowledge of process validation, problem solving, lean manufacturing, and engineering principles.
  • Experience with assembly operations, process improvement, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support and improve manufacturing processes for axle assembly operations.

  • Manage manufacturing equipment installation, commissioning, and project execution.
  • Conduct process audits and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and best practices.

  • Lead variability reduction, lean manufacturing, and process optimization efforts.
  • Perform ergonomic evaluations and recommend workplace improvements.

We are hiring a Process Engineer for a temporary onsite opportunity supporting automotive axle assembly operations. This role is ideal for experienced manufacturing professionals who thrive in fast-paced production environments and have a strong background in process improvement, equipment launch, quality systems, and lean manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and improve manufacturing processes for axle assembly operations.

  • Equipment launch, project management, and ergonomic analysis experience.
  • Familiarity with Visual Factory Management practices.
