The Environmental Enforcement Section of the Energy and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice is seeking a qualified candidate to manage databases related to environmental debt collection cases and perform related legal functions.

Qualified applicants will have experience interpreting environmental litigation documents, proficiency with the Case Management System, and the ability to extract and summarize requested information.

Qualifications

  • Specialized experience interpreting legal documents initiating and concluding environmental cases in litigation.
  • Experience with the Case Management System, recording data, interpreting and reviewing the data to assure accuracy and completeness, and extracting relevant data in response to information requests.

Responsibilities

  • Perform database management related to debt collection cases and other legal functions for the Environmental Enforcement Section.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness and respond to information requests from stakeholders.
