Job summary

Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) in Ridgecrest, CA, seeks an Environmental / Energy Manager to lead environmental, energy, and sustainability programs for contract operations at China Lake. You will ensure EMS compliance, oversee the Installation Energy Plan, and advance energy and water reduction initiatives.

This role requires coordinating with site personnel and government representatives, reviewing contracts for improvements, and reporting on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience with environmental procedures.
• Familiarity with Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
• Knowledge of California environmental requirements and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of federal energy laws and renewable energy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage environmental, energy, and sustainability programs for contract operations.
• Ensure EMS and Installation Energy Plan compliance.
• Develop and monitor environmental strategies, policies, and programs.
