Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources seeks an Environmental Professional to implement and manage the PGD Environmental Management System across regional sites. You will oversee water, wastewater, and vegetation in line with environmental permits and support plant processes to meet safety, environmental, compliance, reliability and cost goals.

The role may involve occasional out-of-state travel. Strong collaboration with agencies and internal teams is essential to maintain compliance and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations.
• Familiarity with local flora, fauna, and habitats.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in analysis, problem-solving, compliance, leadership, and process/project management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation and management of the PGD Environmental Management System.
• Oversee site water, wastewater, and vegetation in accordance with environmental permits.
• Manage all regional aspects of environmental compliance and support plant processes for safety, environmental, compliance, reliability, availability, and cost goals.
