Environmental / Electric Transmission Routing Project Manager

Halff has an opening for an Electric Transmission Line Routing Project Manager in our Houston, Austin, or Richardson, Texas offices, or our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma office. The Project Manager will be responsible for project management, including managing budgets and schedules, client interaction, quality assurance and control, leading and mentoring staff, and ensuring teamwork for successful electric transmission line routing studies and environmental assessments. The role also involves identifying pursuits and developing proposals.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing alternative route development for electric transmission lines, impacts analysis, and documentation for compliance with federal and state regulations. Knowledge of environmental regulatory requirements and experience providing expert testimony are preferred. Candidates should be capable of working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions to clients. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience interacting with clients, agencies, and the public.

• Positive attitude, initiative, and ability to work independently and with teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and travel as needed.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ArcGIS.
