Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Engineer or Scientist to support EHS compliance and ESG initiatives across Lakewood, Greenwood Village, Broomfield, and Colorado Springs. The role involves applying regulatory knowledge, conducting audits, and supporting ESG due diligence for diverse clients.

You will work with seasoned professionals, contribute to audits, and develop EHS management systems while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, earth science (geology or hydrology), chemistry, environmental, civil, or chemical engineering (required).
• Advanced degree in environmental engineering (preferred).
• Professional registration (i.e., PE, PG) (preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in an EHS consulting environment (required).
• Experience with EHS regulatory compliance, historical research, and environmental assessment (preferred).

Aufgaben

• Providing EHS compliance and performance management services, such as audits and reviews (multi-media) of compliance and performance management programs and development and implementation of EHS management systems.
• Developing compliance documents and permit applications associated with CAA, CWA, RCRA, EPCRA, and other regulatory programs.
• Providing litigation and regulatory enforcement support services, including hazardous waste and hazardous materials management.
• Supporting projects involving due diligence including ASTM-compliant Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
• Managing tasks or projects, developing business, and mentoring earlier career staff, based on your current level of experience; and
• Driving personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed

Ausbildung

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, earth science, chemistry, environmental/civil/chemical engineering
