Job summary

Terracon’s Nebraska Region seeks a Geologist, Engineer, or Scientist to join the environmental Due Diligence team in Lincoln or Omaha, NE. In this role you’ll support Phase I/II assessments, site investigations, and brownfield projects, conducting field work, collecting soil and groundwater samples, and preparing client-focused reports.

This position suits someone who enjoys a mix of field work, problem solving, and collaboration with environmental professionals in a growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, hydrogeology, environmental science or related field.
• Strong organization and technical writing skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable history.
• Ability to travel out of town on as needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Follow Terracon’s safety rules, guidelines and standards; participate in pre-task planning.
• Maintain quality standards across projects; develop practical experience in site assessment and data collection.
• Consult with other technical professionals and supervisor on routine and complex projects.
• Perform site visits and field observations; prepare proposals and reports for senior review and client meetings.
