Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is hiring experienced CDL A drivers to support route-based waste transportation and disposal services. You will travel to customer locations on your assigned route, responsibly handling packing, transport and disposal of waste in line with our environmental policies.

Qualified candidates must have a valid CDL A, be at least 21, and pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check. Fluency in English is required and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED


• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.


• By law, you must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred Requirements:

• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement(candidates will be expected to obtain as a condition of employment after hire) and any experience operating vac trucks, combo vehicles, and roll offs.

As you will interact with customers and internal staff, fluency in English (verbal and written) will be important.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.

Additional Information:

Starting pay: $34.00 – $34.00 hourly.

In addition, commencing no later than January 1, 2027, benefits package will include participation in an employer sponsored 401(k) plan, to save for retirement.
