Veolia in North America is hiring for a Hazwoper technician to work on-site at various retail stores in the Denver area, performing hazardous waste and pharmaceutical waste characterization in compliance with DOT, EPA and DEA regulations.
The role requires a valid Class A CDL, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and fluency in English. Travel between facilities is required, with duties including lab pack processing, manifests, and regulatory reporting to customers and supervisors.

The CDL A Driver works on-site at various retail stores and perform two functions, applying all applicable federal and state laws and DOT, EPA and DEA regulations: 1) Characterize segregate, package and document various types of retail hazardous waste and 2) Characterize, segregate, package, and document various types of pharmaceutical waste. This position is also responsible for the preparation of all appropriate and required documentation to meet State, EPA, DOT and EPA regulations.
This person is first and foremost a Hazwoper trained technician capable of on-site waste characterization, packing and generation of all required documents, driving a truck, not a truck driver who only picks up hazardous waste.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.
