M.L. Chartier, a 70+-year-old family-owned business, seeks an experienced Environmental Driver in Michigan to operate vacuum trailers and bulk tankers across construction projects. You will help ensure clean, precise work while upholding safety and project timelines.

Ideal candidates hold an unrestricted CDL A with Tanker and a current DOT Medical Card; Hazmat endorsement is preferred. Experience with vacuum trucks, roll-off/ winch equipment, and strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have an unrestricted CDL A with Tanker and current DOT Medical Card.
• Hazmat Endorsements highly preferred.
• Must have experience with Winch/Roll-off, Vacuum Trucks and/or Tankers.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as an individual environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Vacuum trailer and/ or 70 BBL straight truck
• Loading and unloading roll off boxes
• Operating a Tractor/Trailer with a bulk tanker trailer
• Effective communication with on-site foremen regarding progress and safety
• Adhere to and enforce all safety standards
• Maintain organized and clean job site throughout the project.
• Participate in and promote the safety culture
• Maintain all necessary job-related certifications

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Driver to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized heavy equipment to support hydro excavation and other customer Critical tasks safely and efficiently across various construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure clean precise work while maintaining safety standards and supporting project timelines.

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

• Operating Vacuum trailer and/ or 70 BBL straight truck


• Loading and unloading roll off boxes


• Operating a Tractor/Trailer with a bulk tanker trailer


• Effective communication with on-site foremen regarding progress and safety

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
