Responsibilities include shop/yard maintenance, light equipment operation, and assisting with field work. Applicants must have a Chauffeur's license and a current DOT Medical Card or be willing to obtain them.

Qualifications

• Chauffeur's license and DOT Medical Card required or willing to obtain before starting.
• Dependable transportation to and from shop daily.
• Ability to work in a team and also individually.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Hands-on tool use and construction-related work experience.
• Follow oral or written instructions.
• Work independently with accuracy per safety and quality standards.
• English communication with colleagues for hazard recognition and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning and maintenance around a shop/yard.
• Light operation of equipment.
• Run between shop and field for parts and supplies using shop trucks/box vans/stake trucks.
• Assist Operator with HX truck work and maintain truck.
• Communicate progress and safety to on-site foremen.
• Adhere to and enforce safety standards.
• Maintain organized and clean job site throughout project.
• Promote safety culture on site.
• Maintain all job-related certifications.

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- WILL TRAIN

• General cleaning and maintenance around a shop/yard
• Light operation of equipment
• Running between shop and field for Parts and Supplies, utilizing shop truck, box vans, stake trucks etc.
• Assist Operator with HX truck work and maintaining truck
• Effective communication with on-site foremen regarding progress and safety
• Adhere to and enforce all safety standards
• Maintain organized and clean job site throughout the project.
• Participate in and promote the safety culture
• Maintain all necessary job-related certifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Prior to starting must have Chauffer's license and current DOT Medical Card (or be willing to obtain both before starting)
