Minnesota DOT is seeking a data-focused professional to support environmental document preparation for federal and state projects in the MnDOT Metro District Project Controls Group.

The role emphasizes collecting and organizing technical data, preparing engineering and environmental documents, and communicating requirements to stakeholders. Some teleworking may be available in this hybrid role.

Qualifications

• One year of professional experience, two years of advanced clerical or technical experience, OR a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental/Natural Resources Studies/Science, Transportation Planning or Engineering, or other related degree that demonstrates knowledge, skills and abilities in the following areas:
• Ability to collect, organize, and accurately summarize information and technical data.
• Experience writing or assisting with preparation of technical documents that communicate engineering, natural resources, and government agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Data collection, technical analysis, and document preparation of federal and state environmental documents.
• Supports Metro District Project Controls Group in preparing environmental documents.
