We are seeking a talented and dedicated Civil Engineer with significant environmental experienceto support prepare and oversee the production of environmental documentsin Rochester, MN.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $150,000 dependent upon experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead innovative environmental assessments, develop effective mitigation strategies, and ensure strict compliance with all environmental regulations to protect our planet.
  • Prepare and oversee the production of high-quality environmental documents, including comprehensive Environmental Impact Statements that reflect our commitment to sustainability.
  • Drive projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence.
  • Craft detailed engineering designs and plans for critical infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and utilities that enhance community connectivity.
  • Manage land development projects through every phase, from initial concept to final completion, ensuring superior site planning, grading, drainage, and utility design.
  • Spearhead transportation projects with a focus on traffic analysis, roadway design, and strategic transportation planning to optimize mobility.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams, fostering an environment of teamwork to achieve outstanding project outcomes.
  • Uphold rigorous compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards, ensuring every project contributes positively to the community.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Required:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in civil engineering, concentrating on environmental documentation, design, land development, and transportation projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and standards that drive responsible project execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee land development projects from concept to completion, ensuring excellence in site planning, grading, drainage, and utility design.
  • A solid background in designing and managing transportation projects, with a focus on traffic analysis and effective roadway design.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills that ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that build lasting relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • A collaborative spirit, with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in industry-standard engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS.
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to achieve licensure in Minnesota
