Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is hiring a Project Chemist/Data Validator to support site assessment and remediation projects by validating soil, water, and air laboratory results. The role offers broad project exposure and growth within a leading environmental consulting firm.

You will collaborate with nationwide teams, ensure data integrity, and provide technical guidance on data management and QA. This full-time position offers diverse client work and career development.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. Chemistry preferred.
• 4+ years of environmental data validation experience, including ability to review data per the National Functional Guidelines.
• Proficiency with data acquisition, instrument reporting, and LIMS or environmental relational databases such as EQuIS.
• Knowledge of Federal and state environmental regulatory requirements.
• Proficient writing, verbal communication, reasoning, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scientist/chemist to perform project support and data validation services.
• Ensure compliance with technical and quality assurance requirements.
• Write or review Quality Assurance Project Plans.
• Provide guidance on data use for informed decisions.
• Collaborate with teams across US offices.
• Understand project requirements and client needs.
• Lead portions of technical project work under senior staff.
• Demonstrate foundational safety behaviors.
